In Decision no. 784/QĐ-BGDĐT signed on 25 February 2011, the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) has authorized Tan Tao University to offer eight majors (fields of study) in its regular program for the first class of students who will enter the university in September 2011.   With this exciting news, TTU will prepare for the university’s opening and the admission of 500 students who will receive full scholarships for their first year of study.

“We are pleased with this news, and our thanks go to everyone who has worked so hard to make this university a reality,” said Professor Vo-Tong Xuan, Provost of TTU.

The eight fields of study are Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Finance and Banking, Accounting, International Business, Management, and English. These academic programs, adapted from Duke University in North Carolina of the United States, TTU’s associate university, will be considered “advanced programs” as defined by MoET.
