On May 11^th , at TTU's office, Board of administration and the faculty held a small party to congratule Dr. Khanh Vu Tran on his success of receiving award of Institute of Mathematics. This award is the pride of both Dr. Khanh Tran Vu and TTU.

Institute of Mathematics Council had decided to award Dr. Khanh Tran Vu - TTU, Long An province and Dr. Kien Trong Bui - University of Civil Engineering “Institute of Mathematics Prize” on December 22th 2011.

Dr. Khanh was born in 1983, Ph.D., Mathematics, University of Padova (Italy); B.A., Mathematics, University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam).

Dr. Khanh has been a junior visiting professor at University of Padova (Italy) and a lecturer at the University of Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City). His teaching interests include calculus, complex analysis, probability and statistics, and financial mathematics. Dr. Khanh's research focuses on several complex variables and partial differential equations, including financial mathematics and numerical analysis.
