The International Workshop on Theoretical Approaches to Correlations in Nuclei at the Limits of Stability

The International Workshop on Theoretical Approaches to Correlations in Nuclei at the Limits of Stability will be held on Nov. 20 –  21, 2011, at Tan Tao University, Long An Province, Vietnam (about 40 km west of HoChiMinh City center) (http://ttu.edu.vn/). This workshop just precedes the International Symposium on Physics of Unstable Nuclei (ISPUN11) to be held by the Institute of Nuclear Science and Techniques (INST) on Nov. 23 – 28, 2011 in Hanoi, Vietnam (http://www.inst.gov.vn/ispun11/). The purpose of this workshop is to convene experts in nuclear theory to discuss the recent developments in the microscopic description of atomic nuclei within frameworks based on the mean field plus correlations at various limits of stability. We expect to welcome 50 - 70 participants, including key nuclear theorists and several experimentalists, who are interested in the workshop's topics.
