Under the guidance of leading professors and PhD researchers there, Thao Nguyen took on the role of Research Assistant, a precious opportunity that allowed her to engage with the latest advancements in the field of Artificial Intelligence. When asked about the serendipity that led her to Aalto University, Thao Nguyen shared: “I have always wanted to learn and work in a professional international environment, especially in countries renowned for their technological research like Finland. When the opportunity arose to join Aalto University, I felt incredibly fortunate and excited. It was an opportunity for me to challenge myself and affirm my passion for the field of Artificial Intelligence.”
Not only has Thao Nguyen developed professionally, but her passion for Artificial Intelligence has also grown stronger: “Artificial Intelligence is not just a tool; it is a field that opens up countless opportunities to solve major societal challenges. Contributing to these research efforts has reinforced my certainty that this is the path I want to pursue long-term.”

When asked about her next steps, she shared: “Currently, I am working as a Data Engineer at a securities company. Thanks to the experience I gained during my internship, I was able to quickly adapt to the job and am excited about the potential for growth in this field. I believe that technological advancements will not only drive the finance industry forward but also open up many opportunities for other sectors in Vietnam and around the world.”
