On January 18, 2025, Tan Tao University (TTU) organized an Open House event with the theme “A Day as a TTU Student”, attracting over 400 12th-grade students from Vo Van Tan High School (Duc Hoa District, Long An Province).
As part of the program, students delved into the educational philosophy, core values, vision, and mission of Tan Tao University. Additionally, they toured TTU’s modern facilities and diverse learning environment. These activities were not only educational but also provided students with a tangible glimpse into future university life.
One of the most impressive stops was the Tan Tao Group Memorial House, where students had the opportunity to learn about the history and development of the corporation. Through observation, guided explanations, and access to practical information, the students not only expanded their knowledge of economics and society but also gained a clearer understanding of the fields of study best suited to them, laying the groundwork for their future academic and personal development.
As part of the event held at Levy Hall, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam, Acting Provost of Tan Tao University, led the workshop “Gen Z: Preparing for University” Through his presentation, Dr. Mai Lam emphasized the continuous development of the socio-economic landscape while highlighting the opportunities and challenges that Generation Z must face. The workshop served as a powerful source of inspiration, encouraging students to refine their skills and mindset to confidently navigate the new era.
Following that, the talk show titled “Gen Z: Career Choices in the 4.0 Era” brought an exciting and interactive atmosphere. Faculty representatives from various schools at TTU answered students’ questions about admission policies, language requirements, academic programs, and attractive scholarship opportunities. This valuable information provided students with a clearer understanding of the university environment and helped them define a more specific pathway for their future studies.
The Open House program “A Day as a TTU Student” not only addressed most of the concerns of 12th-grade students but also inspired them to prepare their best for their journey into university life. This practical activity enhanced opportunities for students to explore academic fields and provided clearer career orientation. With its vision and mission, TTU continues to affirm its pioneering role in accompanying the younger generation on their journey to acquire knowledge and build a brighter future.
