On the morning of August 29, 2026, at the Tan Tao University (TTU) football field, the Friendly Football Exchange between the Cambodia Ministry of Health football team and Tan Tao University took place in a lively, warm, and spirited atmosphere. More than a sporting activity, the event provided an opportunity for both sides to connect and foster the Vietnam–Cambodia friendship, while opening up further prospects for cooperation in education and training.
SPORTS EXCHANGE – STRENGTHENING VIETNAM–CAMBODIA FRIENDSHIP
The program was attended by H.E. OU VIPHUP – Vice Minister of Health of Cambodia, together with officials and athletes from the delegation. Representing Tan Tao University were Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam – Deputy General Director of Tan Tao Group and President of Tan Tao University, and Dr. Ngo Quang Vinh – Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of the Tan Tao University Journal of Science, along with faculty members and students.
In their welcoming remarks before the match, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam and H.E. OU VIPHUP emphasized the significance of the exchange in strengthening friendship, solidarity, and connection between the two sides. Representatives of the Cambodia Ministry of Health and TTU also presented meaningful commemorative gifts, expressing their appreciation and warm sentiments toward one another.
With the focus placed not on winning or losing, the match was played in a spirit of fair play, solidarity, and enthusiasm. Exciting plays, together with enthusiastic support from TTU’s medical students from Cambodia, created a vibrant atmosphere on the field and brought memorable moments of sporting exchange.
Through this activity, football served as a bridge connecting delegates, officials, lecturers, and students from both sides, providing opportunities to meet, interact, and strengthen mutual understanding, thereby contributing to the enduring friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
CAMBODIA MINISTRY OF HEALTH DELEGATION VISITS TTU’S EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES
As part of the visit and exchange program, H.E. OU VIPHUP – Vice Minister of Health of Cambodia, together with the delegation, visited Tan Tao University’s facilities and educational environment.
The delegation explored TTU’s practice rooms, laboratories, and modern equipment supporting education and training, particularly in the health sciences. The visit provided the delegation with a closer look at TTU’s investment, learning environment, and training orientation.
The visit and football exchange also contributed to strengthening the connection between the Cambodia Ministry of Health and Tan Tao University, laying the groundwork for broader cooperation in education and training in the future.
