A GROUP OF TTU FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS CONQUERS AI TECHNOLOGY AT AILOGY

14

A group of students from the Faculty of Information Technology (IT) at Tan Tao University (TTU) has been directly participating in core Artificial Intelligence (AI) research and development projects at AILOGY Technology Co., Ltd., affirming that the quality of training is genuinely grounded in the real-world demands of the technology market. This is clear evidence of the spirit of engagement, academic resilience, and outstanding hands-on capability of TTU students even while they are still on campus.

AILOGY Technology Co., Ltd. is a pioneering technology enterprise specializing in researching and developing AI-integrated SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platforms. With the goal of optimizing operations for corporations in the fields of Finance, Education, and Customer Care, AILOGY has a modern R&D environment – where young engineers are empowered to solve large-scale data problems and real-world intelligent systems.

TTU’s “technology seeds” break through at the enterprise

Having gone through a rigorous selection process, students from the Computer Science program at TTU’s Faculty of IT quickly integrated into the company and took on important research roles within AILOGY’s product ecosystem:

  • Student Nguyen Hoai Duy (Final-year student – Computer Science): Focuses on researching and optimizing performance (Performance Optimization) for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) models specialized in handwriting recognition. Duy is directly tackling the challenging problem of achieving accuracy down to individual strokes in complex documents.
  • Student Huynh Van Dong (Final-year student – Computer Science): Conducts in-depth specialized research and applies advanced AI models to handle OCR on low-quality handwritten documents. Dong focuses on testing and experimenting with combinations of Encoder–Decoder architectures in order to minimize errors as much as possible in the process of recognizing and extracting data from original images.
  • Student Tran Huynh Duc (3rd-year student – Computer Science): Stays ahead of technology trends approaching world standards by researching the application of Large Language Models (LLM) and Vision-Language Models (VLM) to automatically and intelligently process, restore, and enhance image quality.

Affirming the effectiveness of the experiential training philosophy and Liberal Arts Education

The fact that TTU students confidently take on R&D problems requiring high algorithmic thinking at a pioneering technology enterprise like AILOGY is the fruit of the Faculty of IT’s application-oriented training model.

At TTU, students are not only equipped with systematic mathematics and computer science knowledge, but are also trained in the mindset of engaging with international scientific papers, the ability to self-learn new technologies, and multidimensional critical thinking in line with the liberal arts education philosophy. This helps students avoid feeling overwhelmed when entering the real-world work environment, ready to keep pace with the enterprise’s working practices without wasting time on retraining.

Tan Tao University and the Faculty of Information Technology commend and congratulate Nguyen Hoai Duy, Huynh Van Dong, and Tran Huynh Duc on their initial achievements. Best wishes for continued impressive research results, affirming the resilience of the generation of TTU students who are creative, ambitious, and ready to master the technology of the future!
