On the morning of January 4, 2025, the career counseling program “Choose a Happy Career”, organized by Tan Tao University, officially returned with the theme “The Rise of AI – What to Study to Stay Relevant?”. Held at the gymnasium of Nguyen Trai High School in Trang Bang District, Tay Ninh Province, the event attracted over 470 12th-grade students, providing practical and valuable insights in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence.
The “Choose a Happy Career” program is not only a career counseling activity but also a mission to accompany students in discovering their interests, capabilities, and personal values. In 2024, the program organized 164 workshops, reaching over 40,100 students and teachers from various high schools. Through these sessions, students were equipped with essential knowledge and skills to better understand themselves, confidently navigate their career paths, and build a happy life.
This year’s event was graced by the presence of Mr. Phan Van Giac, Vice Principal of Nguyen Trai High School, who has consistently supported students in shaping their future. Representing Tan Tao University, the program featured direct engagement and sharing from: Dr. Cao Tien Dung – Dean of the School of Information Technology & Dr. Nguyen Vu Hieu Trung – Deputy Dean of the School of Economics & Business Administration.
During the counseling session, the lecturers provided in-depth perspectives on potential career opportunities in the future, particularly amidst the growing influence of AI. Students were also encouraged to consider the importance of soft skills, creative thinking, and selecting fields of study that align with future trends and their personal strengths.
Thanks to the valuable and practical insights offered by the program, students not only gained a clearer understanding of career options but also felt more confident in choosing a suitable field of study. The journey of “Choose a Happy Career” will continue to expand, spreading its meaningful message and supporting more generations of students in shaping a successful and fulfilling future.
