On February 14, 2025, the Choose a Happy Career program, themed “The Rise of AI – What Should We Learn to Stay Irreplaceable?”, attracted more than 500 12th-grade students from Le Quy Don High School (Long An Province). Organized by Tan Tao University, the event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into the rapid development of artificial intelligence and future career trends.
During the event, distinguished speakers shared valuable insights into promising career fields in the era of artificial intelligence. Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam, Acting Provost of Tan Tao University, opened the program with an in-depth analysis of the profound impact of technology and AI on the labor market. He emphasized that AI is not just a trend but a key factor reshaping the way we work and the career landscape of the future.
Additionally, Dr. Nguyen Vu Hieu Trung, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, discussed the opportunities and challenges in the economic sector. According to him, while AI may replace certain jobs, fields such as business administration, marketing, and finance still require human creativity and strategic thinking—qualities that AI cannot fully replicate.
Notably, Dr. Tran Duy Hien, a lecturer from the School of Information Technology, analyzed the essential skills students need in the AI era, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. He asserted that individuals with the ability to innovate, adapt to new technologies, and possess strong expertise will always hold a crucial position in the workforce.
