As part of career orientation and skill development events for high school students, on January 5, 2025, Tan Tao University (TTU) hosted the Open House program with the participation of more than 150 12th-grade students from Le Qui Don High School (Binh Dai District, Ben Tre Province).
The event aimed to help students better understand university entrance exams while building confidence in choosing their field of study and university environment. During the program, students had the opportunity to visit the Tan Tao Group Memorial House, experience the university’s modern facilities, and explore booths of various faculties at TTU.
Open House – “The Journey to Shape the Future” is an annual activity organized by TTU, aiming to bridge the gap between students’ perceptions and reality. The program not only provides a comprehensive view of the learning, research, and working environment but also helps students familiarize themselves with the professionalism and dynamism of university life.
This year’s program was particularly enhanced in both quality and quantity, with many engaging activities that allowed students to gain deeper insights into their preferred fields of study, understand training programs, and learn about future career opportunities.
At the event, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam – Acting Provost of Tan Tao University delivered the workshop “Gen Z: Ready for the University Journey,” emphasizing the rapid economic and societal development while highlighting the opportunities and challenges that require Generation Z to constantly improve themselves to excel in the modern era.
The talk show titled “Gen Z: Career Choices in the 4.0 Era” was a key highlight of the program. Here, faculty leaders at TTU provided students with guidance on selecting suitable fields of study in the Industry 4.0 era. They also detailed admission methods, scholarship policies, tuition fees, and the support available to students.

The Open House program not only provided an opportunity for students to learn about different fields of study but also created a space for them to familiarize themselves with a new environment, helping them prepare for university life both in knowledge and soft skills. With the value it offers, the Open House program continues to affirm its role in accompanying students on their journey to achieving university dreams and building sustainable career pathways for the future.
