Igniting Liberal Thinking: The Key To Unlocking The Future For High School Students

8

For many years, the concept of liberal education has been no stranger to the academic community. It is a holistic educational approach that not only imparts knowledge but also fosters independent thinking, creativity, and the ability to self-explore. While this model has been widely implemented in universities, it remains relatively new to high school students, yet it holds the potential to open tremendous development opportunities for the younger generation.

On February 10, 2025, Tan Tao University (TTU), in collaboration with Thanh Hoa High School (Long An), organized the program titled “Choose a Happy Career” under the theme “Defining Goals & Building Motivation for Learning.” This event not only helped students understand the value of early career orientation but also introduced them to a multidimensional perspective on liberal thinking through interactive activities and in-depth discussions.

According to her, liberal education is not merely an academic framework but also a life philosophy that encourages students to learn not just for knowledge but to grow into individuals with compassion and social responsibility.
