Au Nhat Huy’s research, titled “Characteristics of Myocardial Infarction in Elderly Patients with Overweight”, focuses on analyzing the clinical characteristics of myocardial infarction in overweight elderly patients. This study enhances understanding of the risk factors and prognosis for myocardial infarction in this specific population, laying the groundwork for more tailored treatment approaches.

In addition, Le Cong Thai’s research, titled “Lessons Learned in Approaching Non-ST Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction in Elderly Patients with Multi-Vessel Coronary Artery Disease”, shared valuable insights into treating non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction in elderly patients with multi-vessel coronary artery disease. The study emphasizes evaluating modern treatment methods and optimizing healthcare processes for elderly patients, contributing to improved efficacy and safety in treatment.

Attending the AFCC was not only an opportunity for Au Nhat Huy and Le Cong Thai to present their research but also a chance to engage directly with leading medical experts and researchers from across Southeast Asia. The conference provided these students with valuable exposure to cutting-edge medical knowledge, from breakthrough treatment methods to emerging trends in cardiology within the region. These experiences will serve as a solid foundation, enhancing their scientific research skills and professional expertise as they pursue their journey to become skilled, dedicated doctors committed to their communities.

Tan Tao University’s medical students have presented at numerous international conferences, demonstrating their capability and knowledge in the field of medicine. At this year’s AFCC in Singapore, Au Nhat Huy and Le Cong Thai marked another important milestone in their academic journey. Participating in such a large-scale event, they solidified their expertise and gained diverse perspectives in international medical research, opening new avenues for development and career direction in the future.
