Ministry of Education and Training signed the decision No 2146/QD-BGDĐT 18/6/2013 about opening the School of Medicine at TTU. It is a wonderful news for both TTU and students who want to enroll in School of Medicine. The project of opening School of Medicine training general practitioner has been established since 2011 with the attendance of Vietnamese famous doctors who are living in US and Korea such as Prof. Bui Duy Tam, Prof. Nguyen Tien Duc, Prof. Thach Nguyen, Prof. Nguyen Van Thuan.
The design of laboratory and clinic room at Tan Tao medical Centre is consulted by professors of Chicago Medical University (Illinois State, US). In addition, the project is also supported by Ha Noi Medical University, Ho Chi Minh Medical University and Training Department of Ministry of Health Portal
In the first academic year 2013-2014, the School of Medicine will enroll 50 students. All students are granted full scholarship
