On November 20, 2024, Tan Tao University officially announced the appointment of Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam as Acting Provost for the 2021–2026 term. This significant milestone reflects the University Council’s trust in Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam’s leadership to elevate Tan Tao University to new heights.
With nearly 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the field of education and training. A Ph.D. graduate from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam has acquired extensive knowledge and practical expertise in managing and directing educational activities.
Tan Tao University, known for its mission of fostering “Global Citizens with a Liberal Arts Education,” has seen Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam place particular emphasis on enhancing students’ English proficiency. To achieve this goal, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam has introduced supplementary English classes to help students not only refine their communication skills but also gain confidence in international academic and professional environments. These classes aim to enhance students’ language capabilities, equipping them with essential skills to develop a global mindset and expand cultural exchange opportunities.
Under Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam’s leadership, Tan Tao University reaffirms its commitment to nurturing generations of students with open-minded thinking, rich knowledge, and readiness to integrate into the global community.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam served as Vice Provost of Tan Tao University starting January 16, 2022, for the 2021–2026 term. During this tenure, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam made significant contributions to the management and development of the university. In this new role, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam is expected to continue proposing innovative strategies and directions to transform Tan Tao University into a leading learning environment, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources in society.
