Based on the Memorandum of Understanding Cooperation between Tan Tao University (TTU) and Konkuk University, Korea on January 14, 2013, the Biotechnology Major is designed to provide medical professionals with infertility treatment and depth of knowledge and skills in the biotechnology and trains professionals capable of applying modern biotechnology to create animal products with a high nutritional and economic value; such biomedicine belongs to the world’s green technology strategy, as well as experts of preservation of rare animal genes for Vietnam and the world.
Admission Requirements
i. High school performance: GPA of grade 10, 11, 12 must be at least 7.0 or higher with no subject of less than 5.0.
ii. National Entrance Examination Result (not including regional encouragement point): at least 4 points above the MoET cut-point; for preferential provinces: at least 2 points above MoET cut-point.
Note: Preferential provinces include: Long An, Kien Giang, Binh Duong, Ha Nam, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong and Quang Nam.
iii. TOEFL Score requirements: 500 or higher
iv. Interview performance: Interview result must be satisfactory or higher. Only students who meet requirements of high school performance and national entrance examination result are eligible for an interview with TTU Admission Council.
