That is a unique cooperation project between the Faculty of Medicine – Tan Tao University, Methodist Hospital, IN, USA, Thong Nhat Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Legnano Hospital, Legnano, Italy; University of Ferrara, Ferrara, Italy; Hanoi Heart Hospital and Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
In November, the research paper will be presented by student Huynh Ngoc Phuong Thanh, a 4th-year student at the AHA Conference.
Every year at the American Heart Association (AHA) annual Scientific Sessions, researchers from around the world submit abstracts for presentation. These abstracts are evaluated by the AHA’s scientific committee and one best from each country is selected to receive the Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award.
The Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award recognizes authors who contribute to the abstract ranked highest from each country. In 2021, this award is awarded to the Research Club of the School of Medicine – Tan Tao University under the guidance of Prof. Thach Nguyen. This is the first time this award is awarded to Vietnamese scientists who have unique research in the field of cardiology.
