Tan Tao University would like to announce the criteria for submitting admission application for the First Expectation as follows:
1. ENTITIES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTING ADMISSION APPLICATIONS
1.1. Entity 1: Candidates graduating from Vietnamese high schools
1.1.a) For School of Biotechnology, School of Business and Economics and School of Engineering, School of Humanities and Language:
– GPAs of 10th, 11th, 12th grade / 3 ≥ 6.0).
– Total points of three exam subjects shall meet the TTU’s requirement of equal or greater than 15 points (not including priority or regional point);
– Pass the Interview Round.
1.1.b) For School of Medicine:
– GPAs of 10th, 11th, 12th grade / 3 ≥ 7.0;
– Total points of three exam subjects shall meet the TTU’s requirement of equal or greater than 19 points (not including priority or regional point);
– Pass the Interview Round.
For Direct Entry Admission: High school graduates shall meet one of the following requirements to be considered for direct entry:
(1) Candidates winning international prizes at international academic competitions;
(2) Candidates winning first, second, third or consolation prize at national academic competitions;
(3) Candidates winning first, second or third prize at provincial level academic competitions;
(4) Candidates from gifted or specialized high schools have Good academic performance and Good conduct in 12th grade;
(5) Candidates from public, non-public, international high schools with Good conduct and Excellent academic performance in 12th grade.
All candidates to be considered for direct entry admission shall pass interview round conducted by Tan Tao University.
1.2. Entity 2: Vietnamese or foreign candidates graduating from international high school program in Vietnam or abroad:
– GPA of 10th, 11th, 12th grade ≥ 2.5 (or equivalent).
– Pass the Interview Round.
1.3. Entity 3:
1.3.a) Candidates who have obtained university or master’s degree wish to study General Medicine and degree programs taught in English at TTU will not need university admission score, but will have to pass the Interview Round.
1.3.b) Candidates who have obtained formal medical college degree with a good or excellent grading and wish to study General Medicine will not need university admission socre, but will have to pass the Interview Round.
1.3.c) Candidates who have obtained formal medical college degree with a good or excellent grading wish to study other degree programs (not from School of Medicine) taught in English at TTU will not need university admission score, but will have to pass the Interview Round.
2. ENROLLMENT FOR GENERAL MEDICINE UNDERGRADUATE PREPARATION PROGRAM
– Meeting all the requirements of application for the School of Medicine.
– Failure to pass the Interview Round in English;
– Failure to meet the formal admission score.
3. ENROLLMENT AND REGISTRATION CALENDAR
Candidates who satisfy the threshold grade point of submitting admission application in the Phase 1 can register online here, submit applications in person or by post on all weekdays including Saturdays and Sundays until the deadline of December 08, 2016.
After submission, candidates will be notified of interview schedule.
Note: TTU will give priority to candidates who submit their applications early.
