On March 17, 2015, the Professors, Doctors and students of School of Medicine – Tan Tao University held a solemn gratitude ceremony to people who donate bodies for medical education and research in the Department of Anatomy – Tan Tao Hospital.
Attending the ceremony were the families of the donors, representatives of other leading domestic and world universities and hospitals such as Prof. Tran Diep Tuan – Vice Rector and other Professors and doctors of University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Ho Chi Minh City; Peter Duffy MD, FSCAI – Carolinas Reid Heart Institute, in Pinehurst NC USA; Marie Claude Morice MD – Director of Interventional Cardiology – Institute Hospitalier Jacques Cartier Massy, in France; Thach Nguyen MD – Vice Dean of Tan Tao School of Medicine, Director of Cardiology, St Mary medical Center, Hobart, in IN USA; Gianluca Rigatelli MD – Director, Adult Heart Intervention Rovigo General Hospital, in Italy; and all the professors, doctors, and students of School of Medicine – Tan Tao University.
The cadavers were placed in the sanctuary place. The surgical wounds have been carefully stitched, covered with fabrics, robed with chain of flowers full of floral fragrance. Before that, the students carefully decorated inside and outside the room, making it look solemnity.
On behalf of the Board of Executives, on behalf of the School of Medicine, Dean Bui Duy Tam and Professor Le Van Cuong – the Head of Department of Anatomy have expressed gratitude to the families of the donors, and appreciated them for devoting to career training of medical education of the country in general, and of the School of Medicine – Tan Tao University in particular. The families of the donors also remind the students to learn better, always use the heart and soul and knowledge to help people, to bring good health to everyone.
