Tuition Discount Policy and Scholarship for Student Admitted to TTU

To support the difficulties that the families of students have encountered in the past time.

TTU would like to send parents and students the TUITION DISCOUNT POLICY and SCHOLARSHIP POLICY at TTU as follows:

I. TUITION DISCOUNT POLICY

  1. Beneficiary:Successful students who are admitted and enrolled in Tan Tao University in 2021
  2. Discount applicable to: Students who are admitted to Tan Tao University (TTU) in 2021 will be considered for tuition reduction if they meet one of the following conditions:

1 Students’ relative, who are the children, brothers or sisters, or grandchildren, is working at Tan Tao Group. 50% All of the majors at TTU The whole course
2 Students’ relative, who is uncles and aunts, is working at Tan Tao Group 30% The whole course
3 Students who have address registration in Long An province or graduated from high schools in Long An province 30% The whole course
4 Students’ parent are teacher across the country 30% The whole course
5 Students whose parents are working as medical staff at hospitals with TTU students from School of Medicine are doing the medical rotation 30% The whole course
6 Students from poor families (who have a poor household book or are certified by the government to belong to a household that does not have enough economic conditions for their children to go to university) achieve GOOD academic achievement and conduct in three years in grade 10, 11, 12 or above 25% The whole course
7 Successful students entering TTU in August 2021 25% The first year

*Course duration: 6 years for General Medicine major; 4 years for other majors.

II. SCHOLARSHIP POLICY

  1. Beneficiary: Successful students who are admitted and enrolled to in Tan Tao University in 2021
  2. Discount applicable to: Students who are admitted to Tan Tao University (TTU) in 2021 will be considered for scholarship if they meet one of the following conditions:

2 Ranked VERY GOOD (DISTINCTION) in three years of study in grade 10, 11,12 75%
3 Students with achievements and rewards in scientific research, physical training and sports, and cultural activities at the provincial level or higher At least 30% as proposed
4 Attaining 23 points at total or more for the combination of 3 subjects at the admission test (excluding priority and regional points) 100% Medicine
5 Attaining 21 – 22,9 total points at total for the combination of 3 subjects at the admission test (excluding priority and regional points) 50%
6 Attaining 20 points at total or more for the combination of 3 subjects at the admission test (excluding priority and regional points) 100% Other majors
7 Attaining 18 – 19,9 points at total or more for the combination of 3 subjects at the admission test (excluding priority and regional points) 50%
8 Ranked GOOD (CREDIT) or VERY GOOD (DISTINCTION) in three years of study 10, 11,12 50%

*SUBJECTS COMBINATION FOR ADMISSION:

  1. Major in Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Technology:
  • The A00 admission combination: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
  • The B00 admission combination: Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • The B08 admission combination: Mathematics, English, and Biology
  • The D07 admission combination: Mathematics, Chemistry, and English
  1. Major in Business Administration, International Business, Biotechnology, Computer Science, and English:
  • The A00 admission combination: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
  • The B00 admission combination: Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • The B08 admission combination: Mathematics, English, and Biology
  • The D01 admission combination: Mathematics, Literature, and English

III. TERMS OF IMPLEMENTATION

  1. Tuition reduction and scholarship consideration are based on the tuition fee of each semester of the student;
  2. Students are considered maximum at the same time 01 tuition reduction policy and 01 scholarship policy (only the highest consideration rate will be applied if the student meets more than 1 condition in each policy);
  3. In case, students are considered at the same time as the tuition reduction policy and the scholarship policy:

– Apply the tuition discount policy in advance

– Apply the scholarship policy on the reduced tuition fee

  1. Personal relationships are determined in accordance with the law;
  2. In case the student’s relatives no longer work at Tan Tao Group after the student enrolls, the policy achieved by the student will still be maintained for one year thereafter.
