Despite bearing responsibilities such as the Chairwoman of Tan Tao Group (ITA) and Chairwoman of Tan Tao University (TTU), Mme. President Dang Thi Hoang Yen still contributes to the Vietnamese education by her burning enthusiasm.
As the Chairwoman of Tan Tao Group and the Chairwoman of Tan Tao University, she is also a member of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council specialized in making suggestion for ASEAN leaders to accomplish sustainable development goals.
Tan Tao now is regarded as one of the leading industrial facilitators in Vietnam to have created hundreds of thousands of jobs and industrial parks. Currently ITA has 21 subsidiaries companies in developing infrastructure, construction, energy, education, healthcare and etc.
A businesswoman with great vision
Mme. President not only contribute greatly in economics, she has proved her ability and vision in sponsoring and founding Tan Tao University, the first non-profit private educational institution in Vietnam. To become the pioneer, TTU has successfully implemented Liberal Arts model which has already affirmed its superiority in the United States as well as other advanced countries. Because of these advantages, TTU has been the enchantment for those who desire a great and modern education.
“Quality is more important than quantity”, 100% scholarships sponsored by Mme. Dang Thi Hoang Yen for outstanding students has demonstrated her effort in education. At the same time, funding is also poured into scientific research. With experienced faculties and more than 60 scientific published works journals, Tan Tao University is affirming its value on the world map of education. In addition, Mme. Dang Thi Hoang Yen also proposed the establishment of the ASEAN Scholarship to help ASEAN students have the opportunity to study and contribute to the development and integration of the area in the future.
Besides, Mme. President is also very actively doing charitable activities. ITA for The Future, the ITA Fund to overcome diseases, and the ITA Fund to heal the war to support for people in hardship were established solely by Tan Tao Group and her contribution. Thousands of houses have been built. Medical examination, treatment and vaccinations for thousands of women and children in difficult circumstances have also been provided.
With the philosophy, standards and practices of American higher education, students of Tan Tao University are equipped with critical thinking, creativity and experimental orientation. It aspires to produce individuals committed to creative and critical thinking, life-long learning, personal integrity and civic responsibility, and leadership.
As one of the students to receive a scholarship from the Chairwoman, Ngo Thi Thanh Truc – a third-year student in School of Economics and Business Administration wished Madame a happy birthday: Annually, on the first of June, TTU is very excited because everyone knows that today is the birthday of the President – the founder of TTU and TTS, a good examples for generations of Tan Tao students. On this special day, as a students who has been with Tan Tao for nearly 6 years, I would like to wish you always youthful, in great health and be resilient as a diamond to lead Tan Tao to overcome all obstacles. I also hope all students at TTU achieve great success. Because I remember, in an online conversation, she said: “My success is your success.”
As the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Tan Tao University, over the past 10 years, Mme. Dang Thi Hoang Yen has constantly devoted her mind and spirits to establish this non – profit educational institution to provide high quality education, to serve the people of Vietnam, Southeast Asia and around the world.
On the birthday of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors Dang Thi Hoang Yen (1/6), we would like to wish her all the best in the world – a captain of “good-will” to steer the ITA Group and TTU to a greater success.
