In June, Tan Tao University (TTU) had visits and worked with representatives from multinational institutes and businesses, negotiating and seeking cooperation opportunities between TTU and these organizations. These sessions will set the stage for relationships with many organizations operating in many countries worldwide.
In particular, there was a typical delegation of Dr. Rui Pedrosa, President of Leiria Polytechnic Institute (POL), Dr. Rita Cadima, Vice President of POL, Ms. Dina Amaro, POL International Relations Department, together with Ms. Tien Nguyen, Business Development Department and Mr. Hieu Nguyen, EVBN’s Events Department who went to Tan Tao University to work on the afternoon of June 17.
“It’s my first time here in Vietnam, and it’s fortunate that I had an opportunity to visit TTU.” Dr. Rui Pedrosa, Director of Polytechnic of Leiria spoke after the meeting with representatives of the TTU school board.
“The quality of TTU campus deeply impresses me, especially as a very young university, Tan Tao has been able to set itself apart by collaborating with many international institutions worldwide.”
This visit of the Leiria’s Polytechnic Director, Dr. Rui Pedrosa lays the foundation for future cooperation between the two institutions from Southeast Asia and South-Europe.
“As Tan Tao University has nine majors taught in English, I really believe in some of those majors having great potential for future cooperation with our polytechnic institution – namely the major of International Business and in the field of Engineering.” Dr. Pedrosa said.
Earlier, on June 11, Mr. Hari Thiruvanam, managing Director of Australian VET Skill Academy (Avetsa) also paid a work visit to TTU. This is the first time Mr. Hari Thiruvanam came to one of the most beautiful schools in Vietnam. At this visit, in addition to the issues of exchange and cooperation with TTU in the near future, the Master’s programs in the fields of Economics and Computer Science, both sides also wish to cooperate in the fields including Students practice, visit and exchange students.
The strength of Avetsa is to bring International Programs to Vietnam and TTU as a prestigious school in the field of training with the facilities of American University in Vietnam.
At the end of the quick meeting with TTU’s representative, the managing director – Mr Hari Thiruvanam, was also invited by Tan Tao Group leaders (investor of Tan Tao University) to visit some foreign-invested enterprises in the Public Park. Tan Duc Industry – Long An Province.
In this day trip, TTU – Avetsa will have more cooperation in the near future, thus opening opportunities for TTU students to have more opportunities to practice, study and work abroad.
