From December 13 to 15, 2024, the 19th Vietnam National Congress of Cardiology, themed “Cardiology in the New Era: The Path to Global Integration,” successfully took place at the GoldLand Plaza Event Center in Hue City.
This is the largest scientific event in the field of cardiology in Vietnam, attracting nearly 2,000 delegates and members nationwide. The congress also welcomed participation from numerous prestigious international cardiology organizations, including the German-Vietnamese Cardiology Association, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association (ACC/AHA), the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), as well as associations from the Asia-Pacific region and Southeast Asia.
Within the framework of the congress, the prestigious “Best Abstract” award was presented to Dr. Vu Tri Loc, a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Tan Tao University (TTU). This accolade is a well-deserved recognition of Dr. Loc’s groundbreaking research, celebrated for its scientific rigor, creativity, and high practical applicability, contributing positively to advancements in cardiology.
The 19th National Cardiology Congress continues to affirm its position as a premier scientific forum, bringing together leading experts and physicians while driving new breakthroughs in medical research and modern clinical practice.
This award is not only a source of personal pride for Dr. Vu Tri Loc but also a testament to the development and global integration of Vietnamese medicine on the international stage.
